Established in 1974, McDonald Industries is a property development company specialising in the refurbishment and strata titling of existing residential flat buildings. We have a proud history having built, renovated and sold over 7000 apartments throughout inner city Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and most recently, the Gold Coast with our PARK SHORE Labrador apartments.

Alex Pope first started with McDonald Industries in 2003 under the stewardship of his father John Pope and later John Manning. He has run the business since 2017.  Alex is a ‘hands’ on’ developer who enjoys working with a myriad of people be it the end purchaser, the property owner / vendor, tradesperson, Council, sales agent etc. His expertise, honourable practice and hardworking approach has attracted an invaluable network of expert consultants (architects, surveyors, engineers, town planners) as well as a construction supervisors and building subcontractors / tradespeople.
